Accessibility Statement

Last updated: February 25, 2026

Our Commitment

We are committed to making this site accessible to the widest possible audience. We target conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What We Do

  • Use semantic HTML elements for page structure and navigation.
  • Maintain high color contrast ratios for text and interactive elements (see known limitations below for brand accent colors).
  • Ensure all interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard.
  • Provide visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
  • Use descriptive link text and meaningful headings.
  • When articles include interactive tools, we place them in the document structure as part of the article flow by default and mark supplementary tools as complementary content when appropriate.

Known Limitations

We continuously work to improve accessibility. If you encounter content that does not yet meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA, we want to know about it.

  • Brand accent color contrast: Our brand blue (#0196ca) used for links and interactive elements achieves a contrast ratio of approximately 3.3:1 against a white background. This meets WCAG 2.2 Level AA for large text (18px bold / 24px regular and above) but falls short of the 4.5:1 ratio required for normal-sized text. We use this color intentionally as a core part of our brand identity, and mitigate the impact by using font weight and distinct focus indicators to distinguish interactive elements.
